A Spalding bag was left at diamond 1 containing mens cleats and some shoes.  The bag has been placed in the shed.

July 27th, 2011 - Slo-Pitch Tournament


Players,

I would like to confirm I will be hosting another open tournament this year which is open to players, friends, family and other teams. Last year we had 12 teams registered and we are hoping for the same this year with a cap of 16 teams. If we fill the tournament I will offer a recreation and competitive division as I know some people want to play on both sides.

Tournament details:

Aug 20/21
Beer tent…. So no coolers allowed
BBQ
Canteen
Hitting competitions
Prizes
Registration is $275 per team… Team confirmed once registration is received
Guaranteed 3 games
Saturday is qualifications, Sunday A/B tournament
Charity this year is heart and stroke

July 27th, 2011 - Rainout Makeup Games


Teams,

I know many teams were rained out at the start of the season. Please try hard now to make up these games as we enter into the final weeks of regular season. If possible I suggest we play the games on Aug 6th and I will organize a schedule so we can have the umps available, BBQ running, canteen open and make it into a fun mini tournament.

Coaches, please get back to me shortly on availability for make up games.

Players,

I hope everyone is having a great ball season and looking forward to our annual mid-season ball tournament. This year we are planning to host our tournament on June 25 / 26 depending on how many teams register. As always we want all players to have the opportunity to play, so please discuss as a team if you can field a full team, and if you are short players let me know and I will pair up a couple teams to compliment each other as we want to avoid teams being stacked up.
The cost per team is $150 with all winnings going back into the teams towards year end parties, etc. 

Captain, please let me know quickly if you can field a team or need players.

 FYI…In July I will host a competitive tournament which is open to everyone both internal to the league and external.

I hate to cancel ball games, but for safety reasons we had to close the diamonds tonight. We will schedule a make up date shortly.

Additionally based on injuries and people leaving the league, we are looking for a few additional female and male players. Please let me know if you are aware of anyone who would like to join the league still.

As everyone has heard there was a ban on diamonds until May 15th based on rain; however Dave Dolman who manages the property has obtained an exception for NG as our diamonds are dry.

Please come prepared to play ball tonight.
